Stuffcode rings, at first glance, appear as any other ring, set with gemstones such as:

  
agate, amber, amethyst, aquamarine, bloodstone, citrine, coral, cubic zirconia, diamond, emerald, garnet, jade, jasper, moonstone, obsidian, onyx, opal, pearl, peridot, quartz, ruby, sapphire, tiger eye, topaz, or turquoise

Once identified, you will find that they are actually one of the following:

ring of adornment
just a pretty ring!
ring of automatic searching
search everything simply by entering the room
ring of conflict
blessed - causes monsters to attack each other
cursed - causes monsters to attack you
ring of concealment
blessed - invisible and actions show as "Nobody"
uncursed - only hides your entrance/exit from rooms
ring of ESP (offlined)
uncursed - see what is happening in adjacent rooms blessed - see what is happening up to 2 rooms away
ring of gain stat
blessed - +5% to all stats
uncursed - +1%? to one stat, changes randomly
(you can wear multiple rings to stack the bonus)
ring of magnetic repulsion
resistance to metallic weapons and makes it difficult to unwield
ring of peace (offlined)
prevents combat
ring of resistance
changes your resistance to a specific damage type cannot choose the damage type when creating
ring of respiration
allows you to breathe underwater
ring of scry prevention
uncursed - prevents other players from locating you
blessed - also tells you who tried to locate you
ring of sexual reassignment
changes your gender
ring of unspookability
protection from the assassin "spook" skill

Notes:

Stuffcode rings do not use a regular ring slot. You may wear two of these rings in addition to any other rings. Squids get 4 slots.

Cursed rings cannot be removed unless you remove the curse with a scroll of blessing or remove curse, or by quitting the game.
